In the country of India there are many holy places of worship, and one amongst such holy places and very prominent and spiritually established and well known place is Rameswaram. This place is also known for the performing of various poojas/rituals to absolve our karmas and eradicating our sins.
Also to seek abundance of health, wealth, prosperity, country’s economic growth, for the technological development, prosperity of the nation, and also for the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi, agricultural productivity, improved employment opportunities, growth in trade and commerce, higher education , stable living, for people’s unity and humanity and for the growth of nation’s opulence by abolishing each and every obstacles and demolishing the evil,. For the continued growth of the human life.
Rameswaram is also known for its religious importance as one amongst the twelve Jothirlingams, and also as the place where Lord Sri Rama performed the Siva pooja along with Bhakta Anjaneyar after the samharam of Evil Ravana. The temple also houses major deities like Sri Ramanathaswamy, Sri Parvadhavardhini Ambigai, Sri Kasi Viswanathar, and Sri Visalakshi. Performing rituals here is considered as a blessing amongst Hindus. Rameswaram also holds significant place in Indian Mythology and People often pay their respects and seek the blessings here which is equivalent to praying from Kasi to Kanniyakumari. It is therefore decided to have the programme in Rameswaram and specifically during the auspicious month of Margazhi. The Rituals start from 1st of Margazhi to 12th of Margazhi (16th to 27th December 2018).
The program will start with Anugnyai, Vigneshvara Poojai, Maha Sankalpam, Aacharya varnam followed by Go Poojai, Gaja Poojai, Maha Ganapathi Homam, and initial Prayer which will start at 7:30am in the morning and go on until 12:00pm noon. Every day there will be a 108 kalasa pooja & rudra Jaba homam followed by abhishegam to Sri Ramanathaswamy, and special prayers.
The second part of this evet is Sahasra Chandi Yagam which will be held at Sri Badra Kalaiamman temple, where every day the program will start from 7.30am and will go on until 12:00pm noon.
The conclusion day (27/12/2018) where we will have Maha Poornahuthi, 108 Suhasini poojai, 108 Kanya Poojai, 64 Bhairavar Poojai (Vaduga) and 16 Brahmachari Poojai.
To make it special we would be inviting the highly renowned priests who are very popular to conduct such an event. The following priests will grace the event who are specialised in this field.
Eminence in performing Chandi Yagam and former chief priest at Sri Raja Rajeshwari temple Bangalore, our Gurunadhar Sri Sabesa Sivachariyar who will be leading this event and guiding the rest of the priests
The team also has few priests who have gained name & fame through their sacrifices and penance like Sri N. Balachandra Sivachariyar from Singapore, The principal from Pazhani Padasalai Sri Balasubramaniya Sivaachariyar. The team also consists of renowned Sivachariyars, students of various padasalas.
Every day the program also continues in the evening at 6.30 after the daily prayers at;
On Saturday & Sunday (16th, 22nd &23rd Dec) will have extra prayers like Sundara Kanda Parayanam and chanting of Hanuman Chalisa, Narayaneeyam, Vishu Sahasranamam, Abirami andhathi, Avayambigai Sadhagam, Sakalakalavalli Maalai
The above rituals are performed in an idealized aesthetic style taking into consideration of all ritual with prudent aspects which are expected to incur higher expenses
